Dave & Marilyn Welychko

Owners

When Dave and Marilyn started Ripple Rock Restorations in 1996 the company was just a few pieces of equipment, with 4 staff members being run out of their home.  Over 20 years later Dave and Marilyn have grown Ripple Rock to 30 crew members operating out of both  Campbell River and Courtenay locations to service Central and Northern Vancouver Island and the surrounding Discovery Islands.

Brett Welychko

General Manager

Brett started with Ripple Rock in 2004.  In addition to being our General Manager, Brett oversees the company’s wood working and damage restoration shop.  With many years of experience as a carpenter and cabinet maker, Brett can restore damaged cabinets to match existing and is able to restore “priceless” antique furniture.  Brett holds certifications in Water Damage, Hazmat/Trauma Scene cleanup, and Carpet Cleaning.

Bobby Goorts

Branch Manager & Project Manager

Bobby started with Ripple Rock in 2008 and has since taken on the role of our lead project manager and Campbell River Branch Manager.  Bobby’s years of experience in both emergency work and rebuilds make him an excellent team leader.  He is a certified Water Damage Technician, Fire and Smoke Damage Technician, Carpet Cleaning Technician,  Asbestos Remediation Specialist, and is trained in Xactimate.

Jordanna Giberson

Project Manager

Jordanna started with Ripple Rock in 2004.  She has quickly developed her skills, working from general labour, to flood technician, then holding the position of lead flood technician and now project manager.  She holds certifications in Applied Microbial  Remediation, Fire and Smoke Restoration, Water Damage Restoration and is trained in Xactimate.

Scott Richardson

Project Manager

Scott started with Ripple Rock in 2015 and now oversees our Courtenay branch office.  He holds certifications in Water Damage Restoration, Applied Microbial Remediation, AHERA Builder Inspection and is trained in Xactimate.

Cory McColman

Contents Restoration Division Manager

Cory started with Ripple Rock in 2000.  He leads our Contents Division which plays an important role in nearly every job that we are involved in.  Overseeing the contents crew, Cory is able to restore most belongings affected by flood and fire with several methods including use of our ultrasonic machine.

Tara Richardson

Office Manager

Tara started with Ripple Rock in 2007. She came to us with a background in Insurance which has been an asset in our industry. Tara takes the lead in the day to day operations of our two office locations and is also trained in Xactimate.
